(This is the first of two Saturday sessions. The second, Budokon Mobility Skills for Movers, will be held at The Movement Sanctuary, 910 5th Avenue North. St Pete, from 6:00-8:15pm.)
Budokon Yoga is a style that explores both the fluidly gentle and the explosively powerful sides of the Yogic practice. Because, as Cameron Shayne, the creator of this system says: “In life there are moments to sit and wait, and there are moments to draw the sword”. Budokon achieves this balance by mixing modern Yogic asana practice with circular transitions influenced by Martial Arts. In this class we will explore a mix of techniques from the Budokon Yoga Primary and Second Series to transform the way you look at movement on the mat, as well as how you move in your everyday life. Take the opportunity to learn this style from one of the highest teachers of the system, Sensei Donato Helbling.
